Current Students

Our ambitious graduate student body is a thriving group of individuals who represent promising young scholars in the field.

The graduate students are not just students, but active researchers, and are invited to work in the labs of psychologists in the program.

We look to our students to bring their cognitive strengths and personal interests to foster the program's mission of training competent and ethical psychologists to serve in a variety of settings.

Here are some of the ways in which our graduate students have contributed to our program in recent years:

  • George Martinez, a third year student, currently serves as the graduate student representative to Division 5 of the APA: Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics.
  • Jung-mei Chin, now on internship, was recently awarded the Dissertation Award in Neuropsychology for her dissertation entitled "Risk factors and barriers in the neuropsychological assessment of suicidality among adolescents with learning disabilities."
  • Keisha Ebony Holmes, a second year student, recently won the American Psychological Foundation's Todd E. Huston Memorial Award.

We are extremely proud of the students in our program!
